Global Afrobeats stars Wizkid and Asake have kicked off the new year with a fresh collaboration, releasing their highly anticipated single titled Jogodo. The song arrives as the lead track from their upcoming joint EP, REAL, Vol. 1, set for official release on January 23, 2026.
The new record blends Wizkid’s smooth, international sound with Asake’s energetic, street-inspired style, giving fans a taste of what to expect from their collaborative project. Jogodo is already gaining traction online, and many listeners have praised the chemistry between the two artistes.
Wizkid spoke about the collaboration and how it came together naturally, saying that working with Asake was an easy process because of their shared creative vision. In his own words:
