The statement was shared on Facebook by the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Disebe Donga. It said her passing has left the management and members of the organisation devastated, and it described her as a valued member of the team. The organisers didn’t say what led to her death.

Williams didn’t stop at the crown. After her reign, she stayed close to the pageant that launched her, this time on the organising side. In January 2026, she was appointed Assistant Managing Director of Prime Planet Event Managers and became part of a seven-member leadership team known as Team 7. She worked with Managing Director Tabitha Adda and the rest of the team to put together the Mr and Miss Taraba pageants.

Her work also reached well beyond the stage. She was active in youth leadership and advocacy, and she took part in an educational support campaign for underprivileged students in Taraba. Through that campaign, she managed the printing and distribution of notebooks and other learning materials to schools across the state.

She was also seen in Abuja in October 2024, when she and other winners of the Taraba pageant paid a visit to Senator Manu Haruna at the National Assembly.

Prime Planet Event Managers extended its condolences to her family, friends and loved ones, calling her an integral part of the organisation. Three years is not a long time between a crown and a farewell, but the picture that comes through is of someone who kept showing up for her state, and for its students, long after the cameras moved on.
